יֱ־הֹוִה מַה תִּתֶּן לִי וְאָנֹכִי הוֹלֵךְ עֲרִירִי וּבֶן מֶשֶׁק בֵּיתִי הוּא דַּמֶּשֶׂק אֱלִיעֶזֶר.

"Adonai Elohim, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or in earth, that can do like your works, and like your mighty acts?
4. וָאֶתְפַּלֵּל אֶל
יְהֹוָהי״י וָאֹמַר אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה אַל תַּשְׁחֵת עַמְּךָ וְנַחֲלָתְךָ אֲשֶׁר פָּדִיתָ בְּגׇדְלֶךָ אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתָ מִמִּצְרַיִם בְּיָד חֲזָקָה.

I prayed to Hashem, and said, "Lord Hashem, don't destroy your people and your inheritance, that you have redeemed through your greatness, that you have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
5. וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוֹשֻׁעַ אֲהָהּ אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה לָמָה הֵעֲבַרְתָּ הַעֲבִיר אֶת הָעָם הַזֶּה אֶת הַיַּרְדֵּן לָתֵת אֹתָנוּ בְּיַד הָאֱמֹרִי לְהַאֲבִידֵנוּ וְלוּ הוֹאַלְנוּ וַנֵּשֶׁב בְּעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן.

And Joshua said, "Alas, Hashem, God, why have You at all brought this people over the Jordan to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to cause us to perish? Would that we had been content and dwelled beyond the Jordan!

11. וּמַה יּוֹסִיף דָּוִד עוֹד לְדַבֵּר אֵלֶיךָ וְאַתָּה יָדַעְתָּ אֶת עַבְדְּךָ אֲדֹנָי

12. וְעַתָּה אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה אַתָּה הוּא הָאֱלֹהִים וּדְבָרֶיךָ יִהְיוּ אֱמֶת וַתְּדַבֵּר אֶל עַבְדְּךָ אֶת הַטּוֹבָה הַזֹּאת.

20. כִּי יוֹם מְהוּמָה וּמְבוּסָה וּמְבוּכָה לַאדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה צְבָאוֹת בְּגֵי חִזָּיוֹן מְקַרְקַר קִר וְשׁוֹעַ אֶל הָהָר.

For it is a day of trouble, and of trampling, and of perplexity from Hashem, the God of hosts, in the Valley of Vision, Kir shouting, and Shoa at the mount.

יֱ־הֹוִה צְבָאוֹת בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא לִבְכִי וּלְמִסְפֵּד וּלְקׇרְחָה וְלַחֲגֹר שָׂק.

22. וְנִגְלָה בְאׇזְנָי

יֱ־הֹוִה צְבָאוֹת.

יֱ־הֹוִה צְבָאוֹת לֶךְ בֹּא אֶל הַסֹּכֵן הַזֶּה עַל שֶׁבְנָא אֲשֶׁר עַל הַבָּיִת.

Thus says Hashem, the God of hosts, "Go, get to this steward, even to Shebna, who is over the house.
24. בִּלַּע הַמָּוֶת לָנֶצַח וּמָחָה אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה דִּמְעָה מֵעַל כׇּל פָּנִים וְחֶרְפַּת עַמּוֹ יָסִיר מֵעַל כׇּל הָאָרֶץ כִּי
יְהֹוָהי״י דִּבֵּר.

He will swallow up death forever; and Hashem God will wipe away tears from off all faces. And the reproach of His people He will take away from off all the earth, for Hashem has spoken it.

יֱ־הֹוִה הִנְנִי יִסַּד בְּצִיּוֹן אָבֶן אֶבֶן בֹּחַן פִּנַּת יִקְרַת מוּסָד מוּסָּד הַמַּאֲמִין לֹא יָחִישׁ.

Therefore, thus says Hashem God, "Behold, I lay a stone in Zion for a foundation, a tried stone, a costly corner-stone of sure foundation; he that believes shall not make haste.
26. וְעַתָּה אַל תִּתְלוֹצָצוּ פֶּן יֶחְזְקוּ מוֹסְרֵיכֶם כִּי כָלָה וְנֶחֱרָצָה שָׁמַעְתִּי מֵאֵת אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה צְבָאוֹת עַל כׇּל הָאָרֶץ.

Now therefore do not be scoffers, lest your bands be made strong. For I have heard from Hashem, the God of hosts of a decisive extermination upon the whole land.

יֱ־הֹוִה קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּשׁוּבָה וָנַחַת תִּוָּשֵׁעוּן בְּהַשְׁקֵט וּבְבִטְחָה תִּהְיֶה גְּבוּרַתְכֶם וְלֹא אֲבִיתֶם.

For thus said Hashem God, the Holy One of Israel, "In sitting still and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength." But you were not willing.
28. הִנֵּה אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה בְּחָזָק יָבוֹא וּזְרֹעוֹ מֹשְׁלָה לוֹ הִנֵּה שְׂכָרוֹ אִתּוֹ וּפְעֻלָּתוֹ לְפָנָיו.

Behold, Hashem God will come as a Mighty One, and His arm will rule for Him. Behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.
29. קִרְבוּ אֵלַי שִׁמְעוּ זֹאת לֹא מֵרֹאשׁ בַּסֵּתֶר דִּבַּרְתִּי מֵעֵת הֱיוֹתָהּ שָׁם אָנִי וְעַתָּה אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה שְׁלָחַנִי וְרוּחוֹ.

Thus says Hashem God, "Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations, and set up My ensign to the peoples. And they shall bring your sons in their bosom, and your daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
31. אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה נָתַן לִי לְשׁוֹן לִמּוּדִים לָדַעַת לָעוּת אֶת יָעֵף דָּבָר יָעִיר בַּבֹּקֶר בַּבֹּקֶר יָעִיר לִי אֹזֶן לִשְׁמֹעַ כַּלִּמּוּדִים.

Hashem God has given me the tongue of those that are taught, that I should know how to sustain with words he that is weary. He wakens morning by morning, he wakens my ear to hear as those that are taught.
32. אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה פָּתַח לִי אֹזֶן וְאָנֹכִי לֹא מָרִיתִי אָחוֹר לֹא נְסוּגֹתִי.

Hashem God has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious or turned away backward.

For Hashem God will help me; therefore have I not been confounded. Therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
34. הֵן אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה יַעֲזׇר לִי מִי הוּא יַרְשִׁיעֵנִי הֵן כֻּלָּם כַּבֶּגֶד יִבְלוּ עָשׁ יֹאכְלֵם.

Behold, Hashem God will help me. Who is he that shall condemn me? Behold, they shall all wear out as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

יֱ־הֹוִה מִצְרַיִם יָרַד עַמִּי בָרִאשֹׁנָה לָגוּר שָׁם וְאַשּׁוּר בְּאֶפֶס עֲשָׁקוֹ.

For thus says Hashem God, "My people went down at first into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
36. נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה מְקַבֵּץ נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עוֹד אֲקַבֵּץ עָלָיו לְנִקְבָּצָיו.

Hashem God who gathers the dispersed of Israel says, "I will yet gather others to him in addition to those of him that are gathered."
37. רוּחַ אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה עָלָי יַעַן מָשַׁח
יְהֹוָהי״י אֹתִי לְבַשֵּׂר עֲנָוִים שְׁלָחַנִי לַחֲבֹשׁ לְנִשְׁבְּרֵי לֵב לִקְרֹא לִשְׁבוּיִם דְּרוֹר וְלַאֲסוּרִים פְּקַח קוֹחַ.

The spirit of Hashem God is upon me because Hashem has anointed me to bring good tidings to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those that are bound,
38. כִּי כָאָרֶץ תּוֹצִיא צִמְחָהּ וּכְגַנָּה זֵרוּעֶיהָ תַצְמִיחַ כֵּן אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה יַצְמִיחַ צְדָקָה וּתְהִלָּה נֶגֶד כׇּל הַגּוֹיִם.

For as the earth brings forth her growth, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so Hashem God will cause victory and glory to spring forth before all the nations.

יֱ־הֹוִה הִנֵּה עֲבָדַי יֹאכֵלוּ וְאַתֶּם תִּרְעָבוּ הִנֵּה עֲבָדַי יִשְׁתּוּ וְאַתֶּם תִּצְמָאוּ הִנֵּה עֲבָדַי יִשְׂמָחוּ וְאַתֶּם תֵּבֹשׁוּ.

Therefore, thus says Hashem God, "Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry. Behold, My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty. Behold, My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be ashamed.
40. וְהִנַּחְתֶּם שִׁמְכֶם לִשְׁבוּעָה לִבְחִירַי וֶהֱמִיתְךָ אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה וְלַעֲבָדָיו יִקְרָא שֵׁם אַחֵר.

And you shall leave your name for a curse to My elect, 'So may Hashem God slay you'. But He shall call His servants by another name;
41. וָאֹמַר אֲהָהּ אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה הִנֵּה לֹא יָדַעְתִּי דַּבֵּר כִּי נַעַר אָנֹכִי.

Then I said, "Ah, Lord Hashem! Behold, I don't know how to speak; for I am a child."
42. תְּיַסְּרֵךְ רָעָתֵךְ וּמְשֻׁבוֹתַיִךְ תּוֹכִחֻךְ וּדְעִי וּרְאִי כִּי רַע וָמָר עׇזְבֵךְ אֶת

43. כִּי אִם תְּכַבְּסִי בַּנֶּתֶר וְתַרְבִּי לָךְ בֹּרִית נִכְתָּם עֲוֺנֵךְ לְפָנַי נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי

יֱ־הֹוִה הִנֵּה אַפִּי וַחֲמָתִי נִתֶּכֶת אֶל הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה עַל הָאָדָם וְעַל הַבְּהֵמָה וְעַל עֵץ הַשָּׂדֶה וְעַל פְּרִי הָאֲדָמָה וּבָעֲרָה וְלֹא תִכְבֶּה.

Therefore thus says the Lord Hashem, "Behold, My anger and My wrath shall be poured out on this place, on man, and on animal, and on the trees of the field, and on the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched."
46. וָאֹמַר אֲהָהּ אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה הִנֵּה הַנְּבִאִים אֹמְרִים לָהֶם לֹא תִרְאוּ חֶרֶב וְרָעָב לֹא יִהְיֶה לָכֶם כִּי שְׁלוֹם אֱמֶת אֶתֵּן לָכֶם בַּמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה.

130. וְאַתֶּם בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה אִישׁ גִּלּוּלָיו לְכוּ עֲבֹדוּ וְאַחַר אִם אֵינְכֶם שֹׁמְעִים אֵלָי וְאֶת שֵׁם קׇדְשִׁי לֹא תְחַלְּלוּ עוֹד בְּמַתְּנוֹתֵיכֶם וּבְגִלּוּלֵיכֶם.

As for you, house of Israel, thus says Adonai Elohim, 'Go, serve everyone his idols, and hereafter also, if you will not listen to Me; but My holy name you shall no longer profane with your gifts, and with your idols.
131. כִּי בְהַר קׇדְשִׁי בְּהַר מְרוֹם יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה שָׁם יַעַבְדֻנִי כׇּל בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל כֻּלֹּה בָּאָרֶץ שָׁם אֶרְצֵם וְשָׁם אֶדְרוֹשׁ אֶת תְּרוּמֹתֵיכֶם וְאֶת רֵאשִׁית מַשְׂאוֹתֵיכֶם בְּכׇל קׇדְשֵׁיכֶם.

For in My holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel,' says Adonai Elohim, 'there shall all the house of Israel, all of them, serve Me in the land. There I will accept them, and there I will require your offerings, and the first fruits of your offerings, with all your holy things.
132. וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי אֲנִי
יְהֹוָהי״י בַּעֲשׂוֹתִי אִתְּכֶם לְמַעַן שְׁמִי לֹא כְדַרְכֵיכֶם הָרָעִים וְכַעֲלִילוֹתֵיכֶם הַנִּשְׁחָתוֹת בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה.

You shall know that I am Hashem, when I have dealt with you for My name's sake, not according to your evil ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, you house of Israel,' says Adonai Elohim.

יְהֹוָהי״י כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה הִנְנִי מַצִּית בְּךָ אֵשׁ וְאָכְלָה בְךָ כׇל עֵץ לַח וְכׇל עֵץ יָבֵשׁ לֹא תִכְבֶּה לַהֶבֶת שַׁלְהֶבֶת וְנִצְרְבוּ בָהּ כׇּל פָּנִים מִנֶּגֶב צָפוֹנָה.

and tell the forest of the South, 'Hear the word of Hashem. Thus says Adonai Elohim, 'Behold, I will kindle a fire in you, and it shall devour every green tree in you, and every dry tree. The flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burnt thereby.
134. וָאֹמַר אֲהָהּ אֲדֹנָי
יֱ־הֹוִה הֵמָּה אֹמְרִים לִי הֲלֹא מְמַשֵּׁל מְשָׁלִים הוּא.

135. וְהָיָה כִּי יֹאמְרוּ אֵלֶיךָ עַל מָה אַתָּה נֶאֱנָח וְאָמַרְתָּ אֶל שְׁמוּעָה כִי בָאָה וְנָמֵס כׇּל לֵב וְרָפוּ כׇל יָדַיִם וְכִהֲתָה כׇל רוּחַ וְכׇל בִּרְכַּיִם תֵּלַכְנָה מַּיִם הִנֵּה בָאָה וְנִהְיָתָה נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי

136. כִּי בֹחַן וּמָה אִם גַּם שֵׁבֶט מֹאֶסֶת לֹא יִהְיֶה נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי

יֱ־הֹוִה הִנְנִי נוֹטֶה יָדִי עַל פְּלִשְׁתִּים וְהִכְרַתִּי אֶת כְּרֵתִים וְהַאֲבַדְתִּי אֶת שְׁאֵרִית חוֹף הַיָּם.

יֱ־הֹוִה וְהָיְתָה לְבַז לַגּוֹיִם.

170. וּנְתַתִּיךְ לִצְחִיחַ סֶלַע מִשְׁטַח חֲרָמִים תִּהְיֶה לֹא תִבָּנֶה עוֹד כִּי אֲנִי
