1. וַיָּשִׂימוּ לוֹ לְבַדּוֹ וְלָהֶם לְבַדָּם וְלַמִּצְרִים הָאֹכְלִים אִתּוֹ לְבַדָּם כִּי לֹא יוּכְלוּן הַמִּצְרִים לֶאֱכֹל אֶת הָעִבְרִים לֶחֶם כִּי

5. וְאֶת זָכָר לֹא תִשְׁכַּב מִשְׁכְּבֵי אִשָּׁה

A woman shall not wear men's clothing, and a man shall not put on women's clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to Hashem your God.

You shall not bring the hire of a prostitute or the wages of a dog into the house of Hashem your God for any vow, for both these are an abomination to Hashem your God.

הַתּוֹעֵבֹת אֲשֶׁר עֲשִׂיתֶם וַתְּהִי אַרְצְכֶם לְחׇרְבָּה וּלְשַׁמָּה וְלִקְלָלָה מֵאֵין יוֹשֵׁב כְּהַיּוֹם הַזֶּה.

Those of you that escape shall remember Me among the nations where they shall be carried captive, how that I have been broken with their lewd heart, which has departed from Me, and with their eyes, which play the prostitute after their idols; and they shall loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
47. כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יֱ
־הֹוִה הַכֵּה בְכַפְּךָ וּרְקַע בְּרַגְלְךָ וֶאֱמׇר אָח אֶל כׇּל
תּוֹעֲבוֹת רָעוֹת בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר בַּחֶרֶב בָּרָעָב וּבַדֶּבֶר יִפֹּלוּ.

Thus says Adonai Elohim, 'Smite with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, 'Alas!' because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel; for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
48. עַתָּה הַקֵּץ עָלַיִךְ וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אַפִּי בָּךְ וּשְׁפַטְתִּיךְ כִּדְרָכָיִךְ וְנָתַתִּי עָלַיִךְ אֵת כׇּל
תּוֹעֲבוֹתָיִךְ.

Now is the end on you, and I will send My anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways; and I will bring on you all your abominations.
49. וְלֹא תָחוֹס עֵינִי עָלַיִךְ וְלֹא אֶחְמוֹל כִּי דְרָכַיִךְ עָלַיִךְ אֶתֵּן
וְתוֹעֲבוֹתַיִךְ בְּתוֹכֵךְ תִּהְיֶיןָ וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי אֲנִי

Now I will shortly pour out My wrath on you, and accomplish My anger against you, and will judge you according to your ways; and I will bring on you all your abominations.

52. וּצְבִי עֶדְיוֹ לְגָאוֹן שָׂמָהוּ וְצַלְמֵי
תוֹעֲבֹתָם שִׁקּוּצֵיהֶם עָשׂוּ בוֹ עַל כֵּן נְתַתִּיו לָהֶם לְנִדָּה.

As for the beauty of His ornament, that He set for their pride; they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things therein. Therefore I have made it to them as an unclean thing.

He said to me, "Son of man, see what they do? Even the great abominations that the house of Israel commit here, that I should go far off from My sanctuary? But you shall again see yet other great abominations."

הַתּוֹעֵבוֹת הָרָעוֹת אֲשֶׁר הֵם עֹשִׂים פֹּה.

56. וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָי עוֹד תָּשׁוּב תִּרְאֶה

הַתּוֹעֵבוֹת אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ פֹה כִּי מָלְאוּ אֶת הָאָרֶץ חָמָס וַיָּשֻׁבוּ לְהַכְעִיסֵנִי וְהִנָּם שֹׁלְחִים אֶת הַזְּמוֹרָה אֶל אַפָּם.

Then He said to me, "Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke Me to anger; and behold, they put the branch to their nose.

הַתּוֹעֵבוֹת הַנַּעֲשׂוֹת בְּתוֹכָהּ.

Hashem said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in its midst."
60. וּבָאוּ שָׁמָּה וְהֵסִירוּ אֶת כׇּל שִׁקּוּצֶיהָ וְאֶת כׇּל
תּוֹעֲבוֹתֶיהָ מִמֶּנָּה.

They shall come there, and they shall take away all its detestable things and all its abominations from there.
61. וְאֶל לֵב שִׁקּוּצֵיהֶם

But as for those whose heart walks after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their way on their own heads,' says Adonai Elohim.
62. וְהוֹתַרְתִּי מֵהֶם אַנְשֵׁי מִסְפָּר מֵחֶרֶב מֵרָעָב וּמִדָּבֶר לְמַעַן יְסַפְּרוּ אֶת כׇּל
תּוֹעֲבוֹתֵיהֶם בַּגּוֹיִם אֲשֶׁר בָּאוּ שָׁם וְיָדְעוּ כִּי אֲנִי

־הֹוִה שׁוּבוּ וְהָשִׁיבוּ מֵעַל גִּלּוּלֵיכֶם וּמֵעַל כׇּל

תוֹעֲבוֹתַיִךְ וְכִדְמֵי בָנַיִךְ אֲשֶׁר נָתַתְּ לָהֶם.

Thus says Adonai Elohim, 'Because your filthiness was poured out, and your nakedness uncovered through your prostitution with your lovers; and because of all the idols of your abominations, and for the blood of your children, that you gave to them;
67. יַעַן אֲשֶׁר לֹא [זָכַרְתְּ] (זכרתי) אֶת יְמֵי נְעוּרַיִךְ וַתִּרְגְּזִי לִי בְּכׇל אֵלֶּה וְגַם אֲנִי הֵא דַּרְכֵּךְ בְּרֹאשׁ נָתַתִּי נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יֱ
־הֹוִה וְלֹא [עָשִׂית] (עשיתי) אֶת הַזִּמָּה עַל כׇּל
תּוֹעֲבֹתָיִךְ.

Because you have not remembered the days of your youth, but have raged against Me in all these things; therefore, behold, I also will bring your way on your head,' says Adonai Elohim, 'and you shall not commit this lewdness with all your abominations.

וּכְתוֹעֲבוֹתֵיהֶן [עָשִׂית] (עשיתי) כִּמְעַט קָט וַתַּשְׁחִתִי מֵהֵן בְּכׇל דְּרָכָיִךְ.

Yet have you not walked in their ways, nor done after their abominations; but, as if that were a very little thing, you were more corrupt than they in all your ways.

הַתּוֹעֵבוֹת הָאֵלֶּה עָשָׂה מוֹת יוּמָת דָּמָיו בּוֹ יִהְיֶה.

But when the righteous turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? Hashem said moreover to me, "Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then declare to them their abominations.

תּוֹעֵבָה וְאִישׁ אֶת אֵשֶׁת רֵעֵהוּ טִמֵּאתֶם וְהָאָרֶץ תִּירָשׁוּ.

You stand on your sword, you work abomination, and you defile everyone his neighbor's wife, and shall you possess the land?'
81. וְיָדְעוּ כִּי אֲנִי

תּוֹעֲבֹתָם אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ.

Then shall they know that I am Hashem, when I have made the land a desolation and an astonishment, because of all their abominations which they have committed.
82. וּזְכַרְתֶּם אֶת דַּרְכֵיכֶם הָרָעִים וּמַעַלְלֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר לֹא טוֹבִים וּנְקֹטֹתֶם בִּפְנֵיכֶם עַל עֲוֺנֹתֵיכֶם וְעַל

Then you shall remember your evil ways, and your doings that were not good; and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
83. בְּתִתָּם סִפָּם אֶת סִפִּי וּמְזוּזָתָם אֵצֶל מְזוּזָתִי וְהַקִּיר בֵּינִי וּבֵינֵיהֶם וְטִמְּאוּ אֶת שֵׁם קׇדְשִׁי
בְּתוֹעֲבוֹתָם אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ וָאֲכַל אֹתָם בְּאַפִּי.

86. וְלֹא יִגְּשׁוּ אֵלַי לְכַהֵן לִי וְלָגֶשֶׁת עַל כׇּל קׇדָשַׁי אֶל קׇדְשֵׁי הַקֳּדָשִׁים וְנָשְׂאוּ כְּלִמָּתָם
וְתוֹעֲבוֹתָם אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ.

They shall not come near to Me, to execute the office of priest to Me, nor to come near to any of My holy things, to the things that are most holy; but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed.
87. בָּגְדָה יְהוּדָה
וְתוֹעֵבָה נֶעֶשְׂתָה בְיִשְׂרָאֵל וּבִירוּשָׁלָ͏ִם כִּי חִלֵּל יְהוּדָה קֹדֶשׁ

Longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but fools detest turning from evil.
97. זֶבַח רְשָׁעִים
