1. וַהֲקִמֹתִי אֶת בְּרִיתִי אִתְּכֶם וְלֹא
יִכָּרֵת כׇּל בָּשָׂר עוֹד מִמֵּי הַמַּבּוּל וְלֹא יִהְיֶה עוֹד מַבּוּל לְשַׁחֵת הָאָרֶץ.

2. בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא
כָּרַת יְהֹוָהי״י אֶת אַבְרָם בְּרִית לֵאמֹר לְזַרְעֲךָ נָתַתִּי אֶת הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת מִנְּהַר מִצְרַיִם עַד הַנָּהָר הַגָּדֹל נְהַר פְּרָת.

On that day Hashem made a covenant with Avram, saying, "I have given this land to your offspring, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates,

וְנִכְרְתָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מֵעַמֶּיהָ אֶת בְּרִיתִי הֵפַר.

וַיִּכְרְתוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם בְּרִית.

Avraham took sheep and cattle and gave them to Avimelekh and the two of them made a treaty.
5. וַיִּכְרְתוּ בְרִית בִּבְאֵר שָׁבַע וַיָּקׇם אֲבִימֶלֶךְ וּפִיכֹל שַׂר צְבָאוֹ וַיָּשֻׁבוּ אֶל אֶרֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּים.

They made a treaty in Be'er Sheva, and Avimelekh and Pikhol, the commander of his army, rose and returned to the land of the Philistines.
6. וַיֹּאמְרוּ רָאוֹ רָאִינוּ כִּי הָיָה
יְהֹוָהי״י עִמָּךְ וַנֹּאמֶר תְּהִי נָא אָלָה בֵּינוֹתֵינוּ בֵּינֵינוּ וּבֵינֶךָ

They said, "We have seen clearly that Hashem has been with you, so we said, 'Please, let there be an oath between us, between us and you, and let us make a treaty with you,
7. וְעַתָּה לְכָה
נִכְרְתָה בְרִית אֲנִי וָאָתָּה וְהָיָה לְעֵד בֵּינִי וּבֵינֶךָ.

He said, "Behold, I am making a covenant. Before all your people I will make wonders that have never been created in all the earth and among all the nations; and all the people in whose midst you are will see the work of Hashem, for that which I will do with you is awesome.
19. הִשָּׁמֶר לְךָ פֶּן
תִּכְרֹת בְּרִית לְיוֹשֵׁב הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה בָּא עָלֶיהָ פֶּן יִהְיֶה לְמוֹקֵשׁ בְּקִרְבֶּךָ.

Be careful lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land to which you are going, lest it become a snare in your midst.
20. כִּי אֶת מִזְבְּחֹתָם תִּתֹּצוּן וְאֶת מַצֵּבֹתָם תְּשַׁבֵּרוּן וְאֶת אֲשֵׁרָיו
תִּכְרֹתוּן.

24. וְנֶפֶשׁ כִּי תִגַּע בְּכׇל טָמֵא בְּטֻמְאַת אָדָם אוֹ בִּבְהֵמָה טְמֵאָה אוֹ בְּכׇל שֶׁקֶץ טָמֵא וְאָכַל מִבְּשַׂר זֶבַח הַשְּׁלָמִים אֲשֶׁר לַ
יהֹוָהי״י וְנִכְרְתָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מֵעַמֶּיהָ.

36. וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִקַּח אֶת אֲחֹתוֹ בַּת אָבִיו אוֹ בַת אִמּוֹ וְרָאָה אֶת עֶרְוָתָהּ וְהִיא תִרְאֶה אֶת עֶרְוָתוֹ חֶסֶד הוּא
וְנִכְרְתוּ לְעֵינֵי בְּנֵי עַמָּם עֶרְוַת אֲחֹתוֹ גִּלָּה עֲוֺנוֹ יִשָּׂא.

If a man takes his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness; it is a shameful thing. And they shall be cut off in the sight of the children of their people. He has uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
37. וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב אֶת אִשָּׁה דָּוָה וְגִלָּה אֶת עֶרְוָתָהּ אֶת מְקֹרָהּ הֶעֱרָה וְהִוא גִּלְּתָה אֶת מְקוֹר דָּמֶיהָ
וְנִכְרְתוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּם.

If a man lies with a woman having her monthly period and uncovers her nakedness; he has made bare her flow, and she has uncovered the flow of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
38. אֱמֹר אֲלֵהֶם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם כׇּל אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִקְרַב מִכׇּל זַרְעֲכֶם אֶל הַקֳּדָשִׁים אֲשֶׁר יַקְדִּישׁוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לַ

וְכָרוּת לֹא תַקְרִיבוּ לַ

וְהִכְרַתִּי אֶת חַמָּנֵיכֶם וְנָתַתִּי אֶת פִּגְרֵיכֶם עַל פִּגְרֵי גִּלּוּלֵיכֶם וְגָעֲלָה נַפְשִׁי אֶתְכֶם.

I will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul will abhor you.
43. אַל
תַּכְרִיתוּ אֶת שֵׁבֶט מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַקְּהָתִי מִתּוֹךְ הַלְוִיִּם.

52. וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִטְמָא וְלֹא יִתְחַטָּא

175. כִּי כֹה אָמַר
יְהֹוָהי״י לֹא
יִכָּרֵת לְדָוִד אִישׁ יֹשֵׁב עַל כִּסֵּא בֵית יִשְׂרָאֵל.

179. וַתָּשֻׁבוּ אַתֶּם הַיּוֹם וַתַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת הַיָּשָׁר בְּעֵינַי לִקְרֹא דְרוֹר אִישׁ לְרֵעֵהוּ

180-181. וְנָתַתִּי אֶת הָאֲנָשִׁים הָעֹבְרִים אֶת בְּרִתִי אֲשֶׁר לֹא הֵקִימוּ אֶת דִּבְרֵי הַבְּרִית אֲשֶׁר
כָּרְתוּ לְפָנָי הָעֵגֶל אֲשֶׁר
כָּרְתוּ לִשְׁנַיִם וַיַּעַבְרוּ בֵּין בְּתָרָיו.

לְהַכְרִית לָכֶם אִישׁ וְאִשָּׁה עוֹלֵל וְיוֹנֵק מִתּוֹךְ יְהוּדָה לְבִלְתִּי הוֹתִיר לָכֶם שְׁאֵרִית.

נִכְרֹת עֵצִים מִן הַלְּבָנוֹן כְּכׇל צׇרְכֶּךָ וּנְבִיאֵם לְךָ רַפְסֹדוֹת עַל יָם יָפוֹ וְאַתָּה תַּעֲלֶה אֹתָם יְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִם.

279. אֵין בָּאָרוֹן רַק שְׁנֵי הַלֻּחוֹת אֲשֶׁר נָתַן מֹשֶׁה בְּחֹרֵב אֲשֶׁר
כָּרַת יְהֹוָהי״י עִם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּצֵאתָם מִמִּצְרָיִם.

כָּרַת עִם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.

יִכָּרֵת לְךָ אִישׁ מִלְּפָנַי יוֹשֵׁב עַל כִּסֵּא יִשְׂרָאֵל רַק אִם יִשְׁמְרוּ בָנֶיךָ אֶת דַּרְכָּם לָלֶכֶת בְּתוֹרָתִי כַּאֲשֶׁר הָלַכְתָּ לְפָנָי.

Now therefore, O Hashem, the God of Israel, keep with Your servant David my father that which You have promised him, saying, 'There shall not cease for you a man to sit on the throne of Israel before me; if only your children keep their way, to walk in My law as you have walked before Me.
282-283. וַהֲקִימוֹתִי אֵת כִּסֵּא מַלְכוּתֶךָ כַּאֲשֶׁר
כָּרַתִּי לְדָוִיד אָבִיךָ לֵאמֹר לֹא
יִכָּרֵת לְךָ אִישׁ מוֹשֵׁל בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל.

284. וְגַם מַעֲכָה אֵם אָסָא הַמֶּלֶךְ הֱסִירָהּ מִגְּבִירָה אֲשֶׁר עָשְׂתָה לָאֲשֵׁרָה מִפְלָצֶת
וַיִּכְרֹת אָסָא אֶת מִפְלַצְתָּהּ וַיָּדֶק וַיִּשְׂרֹף בְּנַחַל קִדְרוֹן.

And also Maacah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an abominable image for an Asherah; and Asa cut down her image, and made dust of it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.
285. וְלֹא אָבָה
יְהֹוָהי״י לְהַשְׁחִית אֶת בֵּית דָּוִיד לְמַעַן הַבְּרִית אֲשֶׁר
כָּרַת לְדָוִיד וְכַאֲשֶׁר אָמַר לָתֵת לוֹ נִיר וּלְבָנָיו כׇּל הַיָּמִים.

However Hashem would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that He had made with David, and as He promised to give a lamp to him and to his children always.
286. וּמֵאֱלֹהִים הָיְתָה תְּבוּסַת אֲחַזְיָהוּ לָבוֹא אֶל יוֹרָם וּבְבֹאוֹ יָצָא עִם יְהוֹרָם אֶל יֵהוּא בֶן נִמְשִׁי אֲשֶׁר מְשָׁחוֹ
יְהֹוָהי״י לְהַכְרִית אֶת בֵּית אַחְאָב.

Now the downfall of Ahaziah was of God, in that he went to Joram; for when he had come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom Hashem had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.
287. וַיִּכְרֹת כׇּל הַקָּהָל בְּרִית בְּבֵית הָאֱלֹהִים עִם הַמֶּלֶךְ וַיֹּאמֶר לָהֶם הִנֵּה בֶן הַמֶּלֶךְ יִמְלֹךְ כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר
יְהֹוָהי״י עַל בְּנֵי דָוִיד.

And Jehoiada made a covenant between himself, and all the people, and the king, that they should be Hashem's people.
289. עַתָּה עִם לְבָבִי
לִכְרוֹת בְּרִית לַ
יהֹוָהי״י אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְיָשֹׁב מִמֶּנּוּ חֲרוֹן אַפּוֹ.

Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with Hashem, the God of Israel, that His fierce anger may turn away from us.
290. וַיַּעֲמֹד הַמֶּלֶךְ עַל עׇמְדוֹ

יְהֹוָהי״י לָלֶכֶת אַחֲרֵי
יְהֹוָהי״י וְלִשְׁמוֹר אֶת מִצְוֺתָיו וְעֵדְוֺתָיו וְחֻקָּיו בְּכׇל לְבָבוֹ וּבְכׇל נַפְשׁוֹ לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת דִּבְרֵי הַבְּרִית הַכְּתוּבִים עַל הַסֵּפֶר הַזֶּה.
