1. וַהֲקִמֹתִי אֶת
בְּרִיתִי אִתָּךְ וּבָאתָ אֶל הַתֵּבָה אַתָּה וּבָנֶיךָ וְאִשְׁתְּךָ וּנְשֵׁי בָנֶיךָ אִתָּךְ.

2. וַאֲנִי הִנְנִי מֵקִים אֶת

I will establish my covenant with you; all flesh will not be cut off again from the waters of the flood, and there will not be another flood to destroy the earth."
4. וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים זֹאת אוֹת

God said, "This is the sign of the covenant that I am setting between Me and you and all living creatures with you, for everlasting generations.
5. אֶת קַשְׁתִּי נָתַתִּי בֶּעָנָן וְהָיְתָה לְאוֹת
בְּרִית בֵּינִי וּבֵין הָאָרֶץ.

I have set my bow in the cloud and it will be a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
6. וְזָכַרְתִּי אֶת
בְּרִיתִי אֲשֶׁר בֵּינִי וּבֵינֵיכֶם וּבֵין כׇּל נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה בְּכׇל בָּשָׂר וְלֹא יִהְיֶה עוֹד הַמַּיִם לְמַבּוּל לְשַׁחֵת כׇּל בָּשָׂר.

and I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and all living creatures of all flesh, and the waters will not again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
7. וְהָיְתָה הַקֶּשֶׁת בֶּעָנָן וּרְאִיתִיהָ לִזְכֹּר
בְּרִית עוֹלָם בֵּין אֱלֹהִים וּבֵין כׇּל נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה בְּכׇל בָּשָׂר אֲשֶׁר עַל הָאָרֶץ.

And the bow will be in the cloud and I will see it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of all flesh that are on the earth."

9. וַיָּבֹא הַפָּלִיט וַיַּגֵּד לְאַבְרָם הָעִבְרִי וְהוּא שֹׁכֵן בְּאֵלֹנֵי מַמְרֵא הָאֱמֹרִי אֲחִי אֶשְׁכֹּל וַאֲחִי עָנֵר וְהֵם בַּעֲלֵי

10. בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא כָּרַת

11. וְאֶתְּנָה

I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations, as an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your offspring after you.

16. זֹאת
בְּרִיתִי אֲשֶׁר תִּשְׁמְרוּ בֵּינִי וּבֵינֵיכֶם וּבֵין זַרְעֲךָ אַחֲרֶיךָ הִמּוֹל לָכֶם כׇּל זָכָר.

This is my covenant which you shall keep between me and you and your offspring after you: You shall circumcise every male.
17. וּנְמַלְתֶּם אֵת בְּשַׂר עׇרְלַתְכֶם וְהָיָה לְאוֹת

21-22. וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים אֲבָל שָׂרָה אִשְׁתְּךָ יֹלֶדֶת לְךָ בֵּן וְקָרָאתָ אֶת שְׁמוֹ יִצְחָק וַהֲקִמֹתִי אֶת

God said, "But Sarah, your wife, is to bear you a son. You shall name him Yitzchak and I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.
23. וְאֶת
בְּרִיתִי אָקִים אֶת יִצְחָק אֲשֶׁר תֵּלֵד לְךָ שָׂרָה לַמּוֹעֵד הַזֶּה בַּשָּׁנָה הָאַחֶרֶת.

24. וַיִּקַּח אַבְרָהָם צֹאן וּבָקָר וַיִּתֵּן לַאֲבִימֶלֶךְ וַיִּכְרְתוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם

Avraham took sheep and cattle and gave them to Avimelekh and the two of them made a treaty.
25. וַיִּכְרְתוּ
בְרִית בִּבְאֵר שָׁבַע וַיָּקׇם אֲבִימֶלֶךְ וּפִיכֹל שַׂר צְבָאוֹ וַיָּשֻׁבוּ אֶל אֶרֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּים.

They made a treaty in Be'er Sheva, and Avimelekh and Pikhol, the commander of his army, rose and returned to the land of the Philistines.

יְהֹוָהי״י עִמָּךְ וַנֹּאמֶר תְּהִי נָא אָלָה בֵּינוֹתֵינוּ בֵּינֵינוּ וּבֵינֶךָ וְנִכְרְתָה

They said, "We have seen clearly that Hashem has been with you, so we said, 'Please, let there be an oath between us, between us and you, and let us make a treaty with you,
27. וְעַתָּה לְכָה נִכְרְתָה
בְרִית אֲנִי וָאָתָּה וְהָיָה לְעֵד בֵּינִי וּבֵינֶךָ.

29. וְגַם הֲקִמֹתִי אֶת
בְּרִיתִי אִתָּם לָתֵת לָהֶם אֶת אֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן אֵת אֶרֶץ מְגֻרֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר גָּרוּ בָהּ.

30. וְגַם אֲנִי שָׁמַעְתִּי אֶת נַאֲקַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר מִצְרַיִם מַעֲבִדִים אֹתָם וָאֶזְכֹּר אֶת

בְּרִיתִי וִהְיִיתֶם לִי סְגֻלָּה מִכׇּל הָעַמִּים כִּי לִי כׇּל הָאָרֶץ.

And now, if you will surely listen to My voice and keep My covenant, you shall be for Me a treasured possession from among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine.
32. לֹא תִכְרֹת לָהֶם וְלֵאלֹהֵיהֶם

Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods.
33. וַיִּקַּח סֵפֶר

Moshe took the blood and threw it on the people. He said, "Here is the blood of the covenant that Hashem made with you over all these words."
35. וְשָׁמְרוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת הַשַּׁבָּת לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת הַשַּׁבָּת לְדֹרֹתָם
בְּרִית עוֹלָם.

He said, "Behold, I am making a covenant. Before all your people I will make wonders that have never been created in all the earth and among all the nations; and all the people in whose midst you are will see the work of Hashem, for that which I will do with you is awesome.

בְּרִית לְיוֹשֵׁב הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה בָּא עָלֶיהָ פֶּן יִהְיֶה לְמוֹקֵשׁ בְּקִרְבֶּךָ.

Be careful lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land to which you are going, lest it become a snare in your midst.
38. פֶּן תִּכְרֹת
בְּרִית לְיוֹשֵׁב הָאָרֶץ וְזָנוּ אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהֵיהֶם וְזָבְחוּ לֵאלֹהֵיהֶם וְקָרָא לְךָ וְאָכַלְתָּ מִזִּבְחוֹ.

Lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they stray after their gods and they sacrifice to their gods, and they call you, and you eat from their sacrifice,

Hashem said to Moshe, "Write these words, for according to these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel."
40. וַיְהִי שָׁם עִם
יְהֹוָהי״י אַרְבָּעִים יוֹם וְאַרְבָּעִים לַיְלָה לֶחֶם לֹא אָכַל וּמַיִם לֹא שָׁתָה וַיִּכְתֹּב עַל הַלֻּחֹת אֵת דִּבְרֵי
הַבְּרִית עֲשֶׂרֶת הַדְּבָרִים.

He was there with Hashem forty days and forty nights. He did not eat bread and he did not drink water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten statements.
41. וְכׇל קׇרְבַּן מִנְחָתְךָ בַּמֶּלַח תִּמְלָח וְלֹא תַשְׁבִּית מֶלַח
בְּרִית אֱלֹהֶיךָ מֵעַל מִנְחָתֶךָ עַל כׇּל קׇרְבָּנְךָ תַּקְרִיב מֶלַח.

Every offering of your meal offering you shall season with salt so that the salt of the covenant of your God shall not be lacking from your meal offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt.

יְהֹוָהי״י תָּמִיד מֵאֵת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל

Every Sabbath day he shall arrange it before Hashem continually. It is on the behalf of the Children of Israel an everlasting covenant.
43. וּפָנִיתִי אֲלֵיכֶם וְהִפְרֵיתִי אֶתְכֶם וְהִרְבֵּיתִי אֶתְכֶם וַהֲקִימֹתִי אֶת
בְּרִיתִי אִתְּכֶם.

I will turn toward you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you.
44. וְאִם בְּחֻקֹּתַי תִּמְאָסוּ וְאִם אֶת מִשְׁפָּטַי תִּגְעַל נַפְשְׁכֶם לְבִלְתִּי עֲשׂוֹת אֶת כׇּל מִצְוֺתַי לְהַפְרְכֶם אֶת

and if you shall reject my statutes, and if your soul abhors my ordinances, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant,

בְּרִית וְנֶאֱסַפְתֶּם אֶל עָרֵיכֶם וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי דֶבֶר בְּתוֹכְכֶם וְנִתַּתֶּם בְּיַד אוֹיֵב.

I will bring a sword upon you that will execute the vengeance of the covenant. And you will be gathered together within your cities, and I will send the pestilence among you, and you will be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
46-48. וְזָכַרְתִּי אֶת
בְּרִיתִי יַעֲקוֹב וְאַף אֶת
בְּרִיתִי יִצְחָק וְאַף אֶת
בְּרִיתִי אַבְרָהָם אֶזְכֹּר וְהָאָרֶץ אֶזְכֹּר.

And I will remember My covenant with Yaakov; and also My covenant with Yitzchak and also My covenant with Avraham, I will remember; and the land I will remember.
49. וְאַף גַּם זֹאת בִּהְיוֹתָם בְּאֶרֶץ אֹיְבֵיהֶם לֹא מְאַסְתִּים וְלֹא גְעַלְתִּים לְכַלֹּתָם לְהָפֵר
בְּרִיתִי אִתָּם כִּי אֲנִי
יְהֹוָהי״י אֱלֹהֵיהֶם.

Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them and I will not abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them; for I am Hashem their God.
50. וְזָכַרְתִּי לָהֶם
בְּרִית רִאשֹׁנִים אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתִי אֹתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לְעֵינֵי הַגּוֹיִם לִהְיוֹת לָהֶם לֵאלֹהִים אֲנִי
יְהֹוָהי״י.

But I will for their sake remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. I am Hashem."
51. וַיִּסְעוּ מֵהַר
יְהֹוָהי״י דֶּרֶךְ שְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים וַאֲרוֹן
בְּרִית יְהֹוָהי״י נֹסֵעַ לִפְנֵיהֶם דֶּרֶךְ שְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים לָתוּר לָהֶם מְנוּחָה.

They set forward from the Mount of Hashem three days' journey. The ark of the covenant of Hashem went before them three days' journey to seek out a resting place for them.
52. וַיַּעְפִּלוּ לַעֲלוֹת אֶל רֹאשׁ הָהָר וַאֲרוֹן
בְּרִית יְהֹוָהי״י וּמֹשֶׁה לֹא מָשׁוּ מִקֶּרֶב הַמַּחֲנֶה.

But they presumed to go up to the top of the mountain, but the ark of the covenant of Hashem, and Moses, didn't depart out of the camp.
53. כֹּל תְּרוּמֹת הַקֳּדָשִׁים אֲשֶׁר יָרִימוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לַ
יהֹוָהי״י נָתַתִּי לְךָ וּלְבָנֶיךָ וְלִבְנֹתֶיךָ אִתְּךָ לְחׇק עוֹלָם
בְּרִית מֶלַח עוֹלָם הִוא לִפְנֵי
יְהֹוָהי״י לְךָ וּלְזַרְעֲךָ אִתָּךְ.

בַּבְּרִית אֲשַׁלְּחֶךָּ וַיִּכְרׇת לוֹ
בְרִית וַיְשַׁלְּחֵהוּ.

בְּרִיתוֹ אֶת אַבְרָהָם יִצְחָק וְיַעֲקֹב וְלֹא אָבָה הַשְׁחִיתָם וְלֹא הִשְׁלִיכָם מֵעַל פָּנָיו עַד עָתָּה.

But Hashem was gracious to them and had compassion on them, and turned to them because of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and He was not willing to destroy them or to cast them from His presence until now.

בְּרִיתוֹ אֲשֶׁר כָּרַת אֶת אֲבוֹתָם וְאֵת עֵדְוֺתָיו אֲשֶׁר הֵעִיד בָּם וַיֵּלְכוּ אַחֲרֵי הַהֶבֶל וַיֶּהְבָּלוּ וְאַחֲרֵי הַגּוֹיִם אֲשֶׁר סְבִיבֹתָם אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה

Nevertheless I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish to you an everlasting covenant.

Then you shall remember your ways, and be ashamed, when you shall receive your sisters, your elder sisters and your younger; and I will give them to you for daughters, but not by your covenant.

They make promises, swearing falsely in making covenants. Therefore judgment springs up like poisonous weeds in the furrows of the field.

וּבְרִית עִם אַשּׁוּר יִכְרֹתוּ וְשֶׁמֶן לְמִצְרַיִם יוּבָל.

Ephraim feeds on wind, and chases the east wind. He continually multiplies lies and desolation. They make a covenant with Assyria, and oil is carried into Egypt.
208. כֹּה אָמַר

For ships of Kittim shall come against him, and he shall be cowed, and he shall return, and be enraged at the holy covenant and take action; and he shall return, and show regard to those that forsake the holy covenant.

בְרִית יַחֲנִיף בַּחֲלַקּוֹת וְעַם יֹדְעֵי אֱלֹהָיו יַחֲזִקוּ וְעָשׂוּ.

And those who act wickedly against the covenant, he shall flatter through smooth talk; but the people that know their God shall show strength, and prevail.

However Hashem would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that He had made with David, and as He promised to give a lamp to him and to his children always.
